1. Revelation 1:3
“Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it because the time is near”.

2. Thessalonians 5:27
“I charge you before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers and sisters”.
In this verse, we can see that Paul the Apostle, is addressing the church in Thessalonica. He guides the Thessalonians to read his letter aloud to the whole church.
3. Nehemiah 8:1-3
“All the people came together as one in the square before the Water Gate They told Ezra the teacher of the Law to bring out the Book of the Law of Moses,h which the Lord had commanded for Israel.
So on the first day of the seventh month, Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly, which was made up of men and women and all who were able to understand.
He read it aloud from daybreak till noon as he faced the square before the Water Gate in the presence of the men, women, and others who could understand. And all the people listened attentively to the Book of the Law”.
Ezra was a priest. He is the one who read and explain the verses to the people who were gathered in front of him.

4. 1 Timothy 4:13
“Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching”.

“And when this letter has been read among you, have it also read in the church of the Laodiceans; and see that you also read the letter from Laodicea”.

6. Deuteronomy 31:10-13
“Then Moses commanded them: “At the end of every seven years, in the year for canceling debts, during the Festival of Tabernacles,
when all Israel comes to appear before the Lord your God at the place he will choose, you shall read this law before them in their hearing.
Assemble the people—men, women, and children, and the of this law.
Their children, who do not know this law, must hear it a foreigner residing in your towns—so they can listen and learn to fear the Lord your God and follow carefully all the words and learn to fear the Lord your God as long as you live in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”
The book Deuteronomy teaches people how to love and read God’s Word. This Book is still important for Christians today because we need to practice reading the Bible aloud with our families.
7. Joshua 8:34-35
“And afterward, he read all the words of the law, the blessing, and the curse, according to all that is written in the Book of the Law.
There was not a word of all that Moses commanded that Joshua did not read before all the assembly of Israel, hand the women, and the little ones, and the sojourners who lived among them”.
In order to perform God’s will, we have to understand it. We can understand God’s word by studying and reading. In these verses, we can see that Joshua is reading every commandment of God to the congregation of Israel.

My Personal Experience Of Reading The Bible Out Loud
When God speaks, things happen. God’s words have a purpose.
This verse in Isaiah 55:11 is extremely powerful.
“So is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it”.
There is power in God’s words. Hence we need to read the Bible loudly. We know that it can heal, deliver, and transform our lives. In your life, if ever you face uncertainties or most painful or darkest moments. Learn to shift your focus on the Lord, through reading the Bible.
We can overcome all the uncertainties and hard times in life by reading the Bible verses out loud. I learned to read out loud God’s promises when I was young. I have firsthand experience in surviving the uncertainties in my life by just reading bible verses out loud.
